I was born and raised in Inglewood, California by my mother, Stephanie Armstrong and grandmother, Annie V. Armstrong. When I was young, I loved piecing large puzzles together with my grandma. She also made learning fun whenever she would help me prepare for my spelling bee competitions at school. I was a bright kid who excelled at an early age, but as I got older I grew bored with school and my focus shifted to sports completely, basketball in particular. My love to learn dwindled as I became a sports junkie. I stop giving attention to my studies as I thought I would play professional ball one day. After playing in high school and some at a junior college in Victorville I moved back to my hometown and began my career as a wellness trainer. Years later life taught me some valuable lessons that reminded me of the importance of learning and growing my mind and spirit. Since then I began to read and journal daily, eventually turning into the writer I am today. Aside from reading, writing, doing yoga, exercising and meditating, I still love to play basketball. I also love to spend time with my family and friends laughing hysterically as often as possible. My hope is to help change a life by changing my own.
